I last updated sometime in November, so it's time for a new journal. First things first - my icon. It was made by the wonderful (and extremely talented) ~Shattered-Earth (https://www.deviantart.com/shattered-earth). I won it in her holiday giveaway by donating my unused points. I feel as though I should be more active just to show it off.
For Christmas my sister bought me a bunch of metal scales so I've been making flowers with them. I made one of each colour and plunked them into a bowl. I've decided that I'll be filling the bowl and then give one away as a necklace or a keychain. Possibly not a keychain if I finish these too quickly cause my keychain rings will take a while to c

I just have a couple short notes to tack onto the above announcement. The first of which is that going from barely 75 to nearly 225 in a couple short weeks is astounding and really awesome. The second of which is that it's a nice feeling to have buyer's remorse over a jewellery component and then months later BAM! Perfect combination. I thought I'd never find a use for those acrylic faux gem dangles.
There's not much other than that to say. My recently un-estranged cousin is almost as weird as expected, but pretty easy to get along with all things considered
